In 2016, Vijayalaxmi, the wife of Mr. Rama Rao, survived a life-threatening accident after tirtham (holy water) was brought from Tirupati. To thank Lord Venkateshwara for this blessing, Swarnagiri Temple was constructed by the Manepally family on their own land.
